You will: - Own the enterprise data architecture across M-PESA Africa's multi-market environment - Set data modelling standards and integration patterns for real-time and batch pipelines - Build data governance, data quality and master data management frameworks - Design architectures for AI/ML use cases like fraud, AML and predictive analytics - Mentor data engineers and lead vendor evaluations for data platforms

What they want: - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related - 3+ years in data architecture/engineering, ideally fintech, banking or telco - Deep OLTP and OLAP data modelling - AWS, GCP or Azure plus Spark or Databricks - ETL/ELT, CDC and event streaming; governance frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK or Collibra
