Power BI
Power BI projects
Build a data model and a dashboard that answers a real business question. You will see the required KPIs and the model you need to reach — but never the finished dashboard.
About .pbix files
A .pbix file cannot be opened or run in a browser — it is a Power BI Desktop format. We store your file privately for your instructor to download and review, and you can additionally publish to the Power BI Service and submit that link so reviewers can interact with the report.
1
Download the dataset
You get the raw files, a data dictionary and the business requirements.
2
Model the data
Clean in Power Query, then build a star schema with the relationships the brief describes.
3
Build the report
Write the measures, hit the required KPIs, and design a dashboard someone can read at a glance.
4
Publish and submit
Upload the .pbix, add screenshots, and paste your Power BI Service link if you published it.
