Ian Amukowa@ian-amukowa
Hi team,
I'm stuck on the exercise "What the borrower is charged" in the Credit Risk Prediction project. My query runs successfully in the local SQL workspace and returns the correct 10 rows with the expected columns, but every submission attempt (17 so far) fails with a column-not-found error.
What I've tried: 1. Using "id" (lowercase, unquoted) as loan_ref → grader says: column "id" does not exist 2. Using "ID" (quoted, exact case) as loan_ref → grader says: column "ID" does not exist 3. Using "tbl_loan_id" as loan_ref → grader says: column "tbl_loan_id" does not exist
I confirmed both ID and tbl_loan_id are real columns in the credit_loans table by running: SELECT column_name FROM information_schema.columns WHERE table_name = 'credit_loans';
Both columns appear in that list, and the CREATE TABLE statement in the Schema panel confirms them too. The query runs and returns correct results locally every time, only the grading/submission step rejects it, with a different "column does not exist" message depending on which real column I use as loan_ref.
Could you check if the grading server for this specific exercise is out of sync with the actual table schema? Happy to share screenshots of the local success and the submission error if helpful.
Thanks, Ian Amukowa Mboya
